Pickleball's roots finally impacting on Durham
 

OSHAWA -- While still building a profile in these parts, the sport of Pickleball has some deep roots, dating back to 1965.
 
Pickleball was one of the highlights of competition at the Ontario Senior Games Actifest 2010 this week in Oshawa, with nearly 70 competitors from about a dozen different regions.
 
"It's been a success from the get-go," said Roswell, Pickleball convener for Actifest. "I had no qualms about what was going to happen ... It's a first and it's a success."
