True Sportmanship. Is there something to learn from this? You be the judge.

I often wonder why we take the game of pickleball so seriously, in fact any sport.  Pickleball was designed in every way to be a sport, all could succeed at.  A smaller court, lower net, ball with holes to slow it down, a solid paddle to create wind resistence, the first serving team getting only one serve, the serve being under hand, no vollies in the non volley zone, and many other things.

Regardless, I still see players at our age try to win by cheating on the serve, not calling themselves on the non volley zone, and always hitting it right at the weaker player, especially if it is a woman.  Is it about winning?  Is it human nature?  Are we wired that way?  These are responses I have heard from grown seniors.

Maybe if every one were to watch this video based on a true story and see what actually happened among a group of young female baseball players we could all be better sports.  It applies to everyone, no matter what sport or what age.
